The local news decalared summer "officially over", oh yeah local news? than ask the weatherman why it's going to be 105 degrees tomorrow. If it's hot enough to sit on your front lawn naked and still break a sweat chances are it's still summer in Texas. But, since the news decreed it "over" it must be true, so this is my farewell post to summer 2011. What can I say? It was... really hot, and kind of lame, but it was given a strong finish when I discovered FISHING released an incredible new mixtape yesterday, full of unreleased tracks to jam. It's called Lophiiforme and you can download the entire thing on their website for free.
