The lovable Troy...

When mentioned the name Donald Glover any Community fan would more than likely think of the show's always hilarious character Troy (unless of course they weren't total nerds about it like me),  however, my knowledge is that Donald Glover now goes by the hip hop moniker of Childish Gambino as well. Aparently he not only aspired to be a television actor but a hip hop advocate as well. (go figure) So he sat down in the studio with one of his "producer friends" and they threw together some regular sounding beats in an hour. Then they called it good. (not a huge fan of hip hop because this is about 90% of it right here) His lyrical value is very media related and poorly executed, using pop culture references all over the place and metaphors about his penis just like every mainstream rapper to date. The music sucks (duh.) but he does drop a line Referencing Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti.

I posted this because I found it entertaining yet strange to see one of my favorite t.v. characters spouting profanity at every turn without the censorship of NBC. Sleep tight Troy.
