SXSW is here! And for the next two days I will not be here, I'll be in Austin listening to some beautiful live music and meeting interesting people. Look forward to those future posts of mine containg my first south by adventure. We now return you to your scheduled programming.

Foreign music is one of my special tastes, I keep these bands hidden for myself most of the time but since it's a special occasion I thought what the heck. What I really like about foreign music is no matter how terrible the lyrics are, I will never understand them. All I will know is that the song is good or bad. As for the true to roots Swedish pop musician Familjen (The Family) the song is Det Var Jag (It Was Self) and it's sooo good. Familjen is one of the few Swedish bred indie performers to compose all of his songs in Swedish rather than English and I love him for it. He's calling you out Miike Snow.
