Everything about this band makes me nostalgic about something. Even the name brings me back to the days spent on the couch playing Mortal Kombat on my Super Nintendo. Yelling at the characters on screen to react to my button mashing. KICK! KICK DAMNIT! Perhaps I'm just that way with most things. If I threw together a mixtape with all of my favorite 90's indie acts (Pixies, The Toadies, Grandaddy) these guys would fit right in. And that's music to my ears. Risque
